  1. We think this was about 13 miles in the end - beautiful weather and good company - Seaford head gave us great views of the Seven Sisters - which was almost worth the uphill start! Keeping to the valley meant that we came under the white horse - next to a field of cows and geese - had lunch in Alfriston chruch yard and walked onto Berwick church and checked out the Bloomsbury frescoes - including Leonard Woolf as Jesus and Angelica Bell as Mary! Last hike to the station through the farm was a bit challenging - but some of us had a well deserved pint at Berwick Station Inn before catching the train home.
